but I felt like I was a lost cause

I am currently 25 and 195lbs. When I was 21 I was 135lbs and worked out constantly. Suddenly I began feeling tired, my brain became foggy, my mood dropped and my weight skyrocketed. I went to the doctor and found out that I had Hypothyroidism which was causing all of these problems. Even on medication I ended up being 210 lbs by the time I was 23. I didn't know what to do. I tried to work out, but I felt like I was a lost cause, a failure. My hypothyroidism combined with my weight caused arthritis and, as previously mentioned, I was tired all of the time. I thought that there was nothing I could do. If I couldn't lose the weight while on medication (which I was told, by my doctor, would make me as skinny as a model), then I would never lose it. To top it all off both my fiance and I lost our jobs. We moved 6 hours away from my hometown, my friends, my family, to stay with his family until we could get back on our feet. So, now I was heavy, depressed, and 6 hours from the only people I have ever loved and the only support network I have ever known.
That was when I found Cassey on YouTube. I started following her videos (one a day) and bought her dvd. Never had I felt like a YouTube personality, fitness coach and stranger, cared so much for me and my well being. I actually cried during a workout. I was doing a move and was tiring quickly when she said, "I know it is hard, but keep going! You are worth it! You are so worth it and you deserve it!".
I have lost 15lbs so far and plan on continuing to do so with Cassey as my guide. That is why I bought her book. I bought it to support her and to continue my journey.
You wont regret buying this. Everything from the photos, to meal plans, to a personal note from Cassey is just beautiful. She and her team went above and beyond to make an absolutely wonderful product that will uplift you in ways that you have ever known possible. This book is an amazing investment. It is an investment in your happiness, your well being. If you ever fall off the wagon, it is right there with uplifting notes and a meal plan to get you back on track. I cannot stress enough just how wonderful this book truly is.

A MUST HAVE plan for a year of POP Pilates & clean eating! Can't recommend it enough!

About 2 years ago I was in a total health rut and struggling to find not just a type of fitness that suited my beginner level but motivation. By serendipity I came across a Blogilates booty workout video on Pinterest and after just a few minutes of watching it I had fallen in love with Cassey Ho's wonderful personality. A month later I completed my first beginner's workout calender from her website. Since that happy accident I've been a fan and I recommend Blogilates to everyone regularly, so naturally when Cassey began dropping little bits of book news last year I began watching eagerly for the preorder.

If you've been struggling to find a fitness instructor that can motivate you without breaking down your confidence HOT BODY YEAR ROUND is an excellent place to start. Including the history of Pilates and how Cassey created POP Pilates, meal plans and recipes, workouts and motivation it's got so much to offer a newbie. The photos are beautiful, the moves realistic, and the recipes completely doable! I'm a huge fan of the Pancakes with Berry Applesauce. But what I ultimately love about the book is what made me a fan to begin with, Cassey's beautiful heart shines in every motivational message and essay, I struggle with self confidence and there's so much encouragement and inspiration to be mined here.

The best part is, once you've got your book there's still a whole community of POPsters to help keep you going and the Blogilates website and app to supplement your clean eating and workouts. One of the reasons I'm always telling my friends about it is that this is the best way I've found to workout at home on a very tiny budget... as in for free!

after feeling so helpless and useless and like I'd never feel beautiful

I have never in my LIFE written a review for anything I've purchased off of Amazon - but after receiving my Hot Body Year Round book I had to spread the word! I've struggled my entire life with weight issues and body dysphoria regarding my appearance, but in college, after feeling so helpless and useless and like I'd never feel beautiful, I stumbled onto Blogilates. Cassey was so upbeat, perky, motivational, and despite my cynical nature, her ceaseless charm and positivity won me over! Her workouts were INSTANTLY effective - no one has gotten me so incredibly sore like Cassey does in her workouts, all for the fraction of the time I'd spend in the gym trying to create the same effect! I've used her monthly calendars and tried all her meal plans and have been able to keep off the 30 pounds I worked so hard to lose all those years ago. So when I saw that she was publishing a book I wondered why I would even need to buy it when I can just go online and find a wealth of workouts on her website!

My desire to support Cassey (and my curiosity) ended up winning and I saw how cheap this book is and knew it was worth it. This book is a damn bargain! The photos are beautiful, the book is well-made and sturdy, but it's truly the CONTENT that shines here. There are wonderful seasonal meal plans that I am so so pumped to try all the new workouts, and get even more insight into the Wonder woman running this whole show. This book is clearly Cassey's baby, and I am so excited to both support her as she gets more and more successful, and am happy to have yet another wonderful resource to aid me in my fitness journey. I have yet to find another fitness "guru" who is more approachable, upbeat, supportive, or charming than Cassey! Buy this book and I swear, you will have no regrets!
