About the Author
Agatha Christie was born in Torquay in 1890 and became, quite simply, the best-selling novelist in history. Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, written towards the end of the First World War, introduced us to Hercule Poirot, who was to become the most popular detective in crime fiction since Sherlock Holmes. Another Great Agatha Christie

Mrs. McGinty's Dead: Hercule Poirot Investigates is the usual interesting, suspenseful read by Agatha Christie. I love her books and always enjoy reading them. The only difficulty I found with the book was the long list of possible suspects who all seemed to be a Mrs. Had trouble keeping track of them after a while. However once again I was surprised when the culprit was finally revealed. Another great Christie book.
